For Unto Us A Savior Is Born
This season we are reminded of how God came to us to be the Savior of the world. As we review all that God has accomplished over the last year, we are reminded that without Jesus being the center of this ministry, none of it would have taken place.
Together we’ve seen:
- 300+ students receive education in a Christian environment
- Clean water through installing & maintaining wells in the community
- Medical attention providing urgent and preventive care to the villages
- Pastoral training and certification supporting over 80 pastors and female leaders in Sierra Leone and India
- Farming through the lending over 20,000 pounds rice seeds annually and planting fruit trees
- Nutrition: Providing 600 free meals a week
- Hernia repair completing over 2,000 lifesaving surgeries to date
- Revive Christian Churches in Sierra Leone and 100 underground churches in India
- Bible and hygiene camps: Biannually focused on preparing the next generation for a Gospel centered life
- Vocational & job opportunities through brick making
- Holistic outreaches where a team of pastors, nurses, and teachers are sent to remote villages bringing the good news of the Gospel while tending to their basic needs of medicine and nutrition
ENGAGES
One of ILF’s aims in Southern India is to support local leaders financially and spiritually. Through your support, 80 leaders are given the financial means to support both their families and ministries. Spiritual support is given through resources, devotionals and Q&A with our team in the US.
EMPOWERS
In partnership with Days For Girls, ILF has adopted a menstrual health program for young girls. In impoverished communities, girls often miss school due to lack of knowledge and resources related to their health and development. ILF’s program involves the education and supplies to keep them in school and participating in daily life!
SERVES
Thanks to your generosity, we raised $1,225 on Giving Tuesday. 100% of this goes directly to provide surgeries for people waiting on an extensive waitlist for hernia surgeries. Your support matters and we greatly appreciate you!
